Some listings on The Social Martini are created from publicly available information before the business has joined. Each one is marked "Unclaimed". Anyone can ask us to remove an unclaimed listing, and we will act on every request.
Open the listing and choose "Remove this listing". We email a one-time link to the contact address we hold for the business. From that link you can remove the listing or claim it instead.
Use the report form on the same page. Tell us what the problem is and add any evidence. A report on its own does not remove a listing: our team reviews it and decides.
If the listing shows your personal data, or puts someone's safety at risk, tick the matching box. The listing is then hidden while we review.
An approved removal is a permanent deletion, not a hiding. We delete the listing, its images and files, and its entries in our search index. We also keep a one-way record of the business's contact details so the listing is not created again.
We keep a record that a request was made, how it was verified, when it was decided and what was deleted. This lets us show that we handled it properly. Your name, email address and the technical details of your request are kept for 6 years and then deleted. The record itself stays, without any details that identify you.
Questions about a removal, or about your data, go to hello@thesocialmartini.com. See also our notice for listed businesses and our Privacy Policy.
