Halloween and Bonfire Night across the St Albans district: village by village

Halloween is on Saturday 31 October and Bonfire Night is Thursday 5 November, so the next ten days are busy. Here is what we could confirm in each of our nine areas, with a link to the organiser for every event. Details were checked on 29 October 2026. Where something is not announced yet, we say so rather than guess.

Harpenden

• Harpenden Rugby Club fireworks, Sunday 1 November. Gates open at 3pm and the show starts at 6pm at Harpenden Rugby Football Club (AL5 2BA). Tickets on Ticket Tailor.
• For everything else, the town council keeps a live events calendar.

London Colney

• London Colney Fireworks, Sunday 1 November, 3pm to 6pm at Morris Playing Fields (AL2 1JW). Entry is by ticket, booked online through the parish council: Ticket Tailor.
• Halloween Spooktacular, Saturday 31 October, 10am to 11:30am at Caledon Community Centre. It is sold out, but the parish council lists other events on the same Ticket Tailor page, including the Christmas panto on 6 December.
• Willows Activity Farm low-bang fireworks. The farm runs these in early November. Dates and times change from year to year, so check its event page before booking.

Redbourn

The Parish Council has put out a call for volunteers for this year's Redbourn Fireworks on the Common, so a display is planned, but the date has not been announced. Last year's was a free event on Saturday 8 November, funded by donations, sponsorship and raffle sales. Watch the fireworks page for the date.

Wheathampstead

The village fireworks at Beech Hyde Primary School and Nursery are usually held on the first Sunday of November, and last year's was on Sunday 2 November. We could not find a 2026 date yet. Tickets are sold on Ticket Tailor.

Park Street, Colney Heath, Bricket Wood and Sandridge

We could not find a confirmed Halloween or fireworks event in these four areas this year. Nearby options are the Samuel Ryder Academy fireworks in St Albans on Friday 6 November (tickets) and the London Colney fireworks on Sunday 1 November (tickets). If something is happening where you live, tell us in your group.

St Albans
